| Resource Tasks: | Resource will be focused on the design and implementation of a Windows 2008 file share system (DFS). The following is from the staement of work: Microsoft Based File Share Design
o HP and M&T will partner in designing a Microsoft based file share infrastructure for shared data based on M&T's NetApp and Tier 3 server storage infrastructure. HP will work with M&T to ensure that the design does not preclude the implementation of SharePoint at a future time.
o HP and M&T will partner in identifying processes for provisioning/deprovisioning of users for the file share services leveraging M&T's provisioning/de-provisioning tool Control SA. For this, HP will work with M&T's vendor SailPoint. HP will identify the processes required within the Microsoft
system to accomplish the required tasks while development for the Control SA tool will be performed by M&T and SailPoint with input from HP resources. The design will have flexibility to transition to another provisioning/de-provisioning
tool in the future and/or be compliant with industry standard practices.
o HP and M&T will partner in the design of monitoring/alerting of the file share services using M&T's existing monitoring infrastructure. This effort will be modeled on current monitoring which includes measurements such as up/down
status of the server and of volumes and percentage of disk space free.
o HP and M&T will partner in the development of a backup/restore plan for the file shares leveraging NetApp appliance technology for a backup/restore solution at Tier 1 and Tier 2 sites. HP will provide input and industry standard
experience to M&T as they seek a solution for the Tier 3 sites.
o HP and M&T will partner to identify, design and implement capacity planning, reporting, and trending for file services leveraging existing M&T tools. o HP and M&T will partner on a design for Server and Workstation management to replace the Netware file share based systems currently in place which
distributes scripts, patches and applications to help manage the environment:
§ The Netware file share based system for server management will be replicated in the Microsoft design and a design for SCCM management of servers at Tier 3 (small location) sites will be created including server patching, application installation, and Group Policy distribution.
§ The Netware file share based system for workstation management will be replicated in the Microsoft design.
o HP and M&T will partner in designing and implementing a file distribution solution supporting file shares and end-user access to the file shares. Considerations include:
§ Translating physical drive paths into logical drive paths
§ Shares and folder structure
§ Maintenance of the structure
§ User provisioning and de-provisioning through Control SA to provide end user access
§ Standards for group names related to file share access, share names
o HP will partner with M&T to develop implementation processes and test plans for all the designs and for migration processes.
o HP will partner with M&T to design, develop, and execute a proof of concept for a solution that provides an audit functionality to identify who has access to the file system, and when they were granted access o HP and M&T will partner through implementation, a pilot of up to 50 users in Baltimore and Wilmington and the rollout to the first sets of production users consisting of up to 500 users in Baltimore (migration from NetWare file shares)
and up to 500 users in Wilmington (inter-forest Windows based file share migrations). HP will work with M&T through the first production migrations only. · In general for the scope of this document, the term "repeatable process" is defined as the ability to execute for existing Novell to Microsoft and Microsoft to Microsoft
conversions as well as future acquisitions.
· File Share Migration
o Create and test a repeatable process for the migration of the Novell based file shares to the new Microsoft based file share infrastructure and partner with M&T for pilot migrations for the Baltimore population of up to 50 users and first
production subsets of up to 500 users.
o Create and test a repeatable process for the migration of Microsoft based file shares from the Wilmington Trust infrastructure to the new M&T Microsoft based file share infrastructure and perform pilot migrations with M&T of up to 50 users and production subsets of up to 500 users
o Create and test a repeatable process for the migration of Novell based home directories (F: drives) to the new file share infrastructure and perform pilot migrations with M&T IT staff.
o HP and M&T will work in full partnership through pilot and first production migrations for:
§ Commerce Drive (NetWare to Microsoft migrations)
§ Montgomery Park (NetWare to Microsoft migrations)
§ 2 Wilmington Sites (Microsoft inter forest migrations)
§ Consisting of pilots of up to 50 users each for the Netware to Microsoft migrations and the Microsoft inter forest migrations and production migrations of up to 500 users.
o Create and test a process for login scripts providing share access to end users (user presentation of data) The HP team will deliver the following on a Time & Expense (T&E) basis:

· Deliverable - File Share Reporting, Monitoring and Alerting Design, Implementation
· Process and Test Plan
