The Remote Access Services Administrator acts as the team's highest escalation point. This position helps to maintain support of an established portfolio of complex remote access solutions including Citrix, XenDesktop, XenApp, Provisioning Services, and cloud computing in support of Best Buy's mobile workforce and offshore support resources.

The scope of the remote access services technologies is to enable approved users to securely access Best Buy internal network from anywhere at any time with any device. We are looking for outstanding team members to join us in our efforts to ensure a successful project and support model.

Responsibilities:

5+ years Citrix experience in deploying, implementing, and supporting Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and Provisioning Services
Knowledge surrounding network and storage configurations related to Citrix virtualization
Microsoft Server OS install, configuration and troubleshooting
Server virtualization hypervisor administration in an enterprise environment to include one of the following VMware, XenServer or HyperV
Microsoft Visio to be able to capture and document existing and new environments

This role is part of a larger product team that builds, supports and promotes Best Buy's APIs. This is a highly collaborative team of engineers, builders and problem solvers that share a open lab environment. We work hard and are serious about uptime.

Responsibilities:

Operational support for Remix team
Working with networks, security, firewalls, load balancers, DNS and other infrastructure components
Maintain existing systems and write new features written in Ruby
Utilizing Chef
Maintain core systems such as MySQL, Ruby on Rails, SOLR, as well as troubleshooting technical issues through the network stack.

Must Have Skills:

At least three - five years of system administration experience.
Experience working with MySQL.
Strong knowledge of Linux.
Experience scripting, automation and troubleshooting of processes and systems;
Experience working with monitoring tools.
Experience working with networks, security, firewalls, load balancers, DNS and other infrastructure components.
The ability to prioritize effectively, communicate clearly, and consistently deliver results.
