The ideal candidate must be able to interpret and influence business user requirements to ensure that standard terminology is used and the most relevant information is generated with the greatest efficiency. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have advanced knowledge of data warehousing concepts, and within a data warehousing environment.
Should be proficient with SSIS or Cognos!
Role Description:
· This individual reports to the Manager of Enterprise Reporting and supports cross-functional business units within the organization.
· This individual has significant interaction with Health Plan and Direct to Employer Markets, Solutions, Business Technology, Operations Finance and Operations Services.
· These interactions may include, but are not limited to, leading and facilitating team meetings, interviewing colleagues to identify data and information needs, mentoring colleagues in metric and report design, and demonstrating, through group and individual presentations, metric and report design and report functionality.
This individual's responsibilities include:
· Defining, documenting, and effectively communicating measurement definition and criteria for the organization to meet both internal and external reporting needs.
· This individual provides developer support for metric coding, creates report mock-ups to assist developer with report creation, and supports Quality Assurance testing of reports.
· Through metric creation this individual identifies data sources and assesses integrity of that data, analyzes data gaps, documents and communicates data issues, and ensures consistent application of information management across the enterprise.
· This individual serves as a subject matter expert and technical resource for the organization for metrics, report templates, reporting tools, report definition and production, data analysis, and report interpretation.
· As subject matter expert, this individual collaborates with business users to meet and exceed customer expectations.
