Python Engineer/Software Engineer (Python)

Location: Ashburn, VA

Duration: Long term contract

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field

Demonstrated capability using Django – min. 2 years

Demonstrated capability using Python – min. 3 years

Demonstrated capability using Linux – min. 2 years

Demonstrated capability using Object-Oriented model

Experience creating web pages using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

Experience creating dashboards and other visualizations

Experience with MySQL or another SQL Database

Experience creating RESTFUL web API's

Familiar with TCP/IP and other networking protocols

Experience with BASH shell scripting

Nice to have:

Experience and understanding of Machine Learning and AI

Experience and understanding of Data Analytics

Experience and understanding of Mongo DB

Knowledge of Wi-Fi 802.11ax and emerging standards

Experience in robotics

Experience with prototyping and building proof of concepts

Basic understanding of electronics

Basic understanding of quality assurance and testing
