We currently have a PeopleSoft Developer position open in King of Prussia, PA. Client will prefer local candidate, if not, someone closer to PA such as NJ, NY, DE, MD, DC, VA. Last they will consider is candidate located somewhere else.

Location: Norristown, PA

Duration: 1+ year

Responsible for the design, development and deployment of systems components, including enterprise infrastructure, information systems, ERP applications, and Internet technologies.

Projects are typically focused on both software and hardware components.

Evaluates existing systems to understand capabilities and recommend solutions.

Work with non-technical business owners to understand needs and develop a technical solution.

Participates in the layout design and installation of new systems or modification of existing systems.

Develop and manage systems integration projects. Identifies and resolves existing system deficiencies.

Must have strong communication skills to interact with business counterparts.

6+ years of prior systems engineering experience in large enterprise environments is required.

We are currently seeking a highly qualified resource to implement a new Peoplesoft module called "Asset Maintenance Management".

This position is a technical lead role and requires a person that can effectively lead a project to implement the new application module.

The candidate must have proficient experience using all areas of the module including how to configure the module.

The candidate should have a minimum of 5-10 years experience working with Peoplesoft application programming, i.e. SQR, AppEngine, Application Package, Peoplecode, Integration Broker, PSQuery, Workflow, Security, etc.

The candidate should also have a strong knowledge of Oracle SQL writing and tuning.

The candidate must also have experience developing and managing Oracle database objects such as Triggers, Functions, Procedures and Packages.

Programming knowledge in Unix Scripting and Windows BAT scripting is a plus. Knowledge of Visual Basics is also helpful but not required.

· Experience with Oracle/SQL Server/DB2 in support of the transactional systems modeling is preferred

· Experience with Netezza or other data warehouse appliance platform is preferred

I need someone that will be able to:- Get a machine, break into debugger, be able to understand a call stack, look for reproes, troubleshoot problems that include software and hardware, etc.

- Not so much writing code, but definitely be able read code and eventually write tools (C, Powershell, etc)Additional: Analyze, design, development and execution of overall test plans, perform repeatable testing procedures and processes. Verification of installation instructions, APIs, triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, hardware product or system specifications. Interpretation and modification of code as required including batch files, make files, Perl scripts, queries. Identify and define project team quality and risk metrics. Provide assistance to other testers and developers. Application/System/Inter-System level issues may be the major focus. Hardware and software validation are key activities in the role. Enterprise level configuration skills.

Qualifications:

4+ years software testing experience General knowledge of software quality assurance practices.

Ability to read and write at least one programming language such as C/C++ Knowledge of personal computer hardware would be immensely helpful Must have solid understanding of software development cycle. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required and some industry experience helpful.
