Vistex Consultant -
7+ Month Contract
We are currently looking for a Technical / Functional Consultant with strong background in Vistex configuration and customization/development in the areas of inbound data processing via Data Objects, Claims Processing and
Billbacks.
This role will work directly with our internal EBS Lead and Business Capability lead for Distributor Finance. The position is based in St. Paul, MN.
Project Background:
To enable several key components of the company's Circle the Customer, Circle the Globe strategy, We are implementing SAP ERP, CRM, SCM and BI across the enterprise (hereafter referred to as "EBS"). This is being
accomplished in a phased approach, initially with implementations in Europe and Asia, and now continuing in the USA after Canada implementation.
Main Skill Required
• Strong technical and functional expertise in the Vistex functional areas of
o Data Objects (Inbound Distributor Data Management)
o Claims
o Pricing
o Billbacks
o IP Document Processing
o Experience in Agreements and Memberships a plus.
• Prior experience and willingness to work on all phases of development including configuration, customizations/enhancements (including coding), data conversions, testing, implementation cutover activities, and post
production support.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, other consultants, EBS technical leads and development team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The candidate must have experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) in addition to Vistex experience.
Responsibilities
• Provide deep technical and process knowledge to help facilitate optimal technical and business process solution development to meet approved business requirements.
• Conduct technical overviews and software capability demonstrations for business process owners and leads as required.
• Diagnose and resolve application and process issues as they arise, experience in post implementation support and hyper-care support a plus.
• Work a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, document and validate requirements for changes to business processes, revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary, policies and
information systems as well as ensuring testing requirements are met and documenting business requirements.
