Title: Informatica Developer – must have B2B PowerExchange exp

Location: Ft Wayne IN

Contract term – 6 months

 

IT – INFORMATICA DEVELOPER

Managing the transformation, delivery, and exchange of data between both internal and external business systems across all business units - Upstream, Downstream, and Corporate utilizing Informatica.
Providing daily operational production support and 24x7 callout support on a rotating basis. Working with team members to provide system support, documentation, and knowledge sharing of best practices.
Responsibilities:
 Develop configurable, repeatable and predictable integrations utilizing Informatica / B2B PowerExchange
 System and data analysis, architecture, and design
 Data integration and workflow design
 Comfortable interacting with customers and end users
 Troubleshoot and resolve post-live errors and performance issues
 Advise on architectural strategies and best practice approaches
 Maintain confidentiality of customer data

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences or 10 years related IT experience
5+ years hands-on experience with implementation and support of Informatica B2B Data Exchange platform
Experience building both traditional ETL scenarios in Informatica as well as non-traditional Integration scenarios
Demonstrated ability to architect complex integration scenarios using Informatica
Demonstrated ability and willingness to provide 24x7 application support
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to quickly recognize, isolate, and resolve technical problems

Apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. Analyzes user needs, and then designs, tests, and develops software to meet those needs.

Responsibility level: Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.

Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time. Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery. Expert ability to troubleshot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software. Expert knowledge of computer development software across multiple platforms.

Note: This position is not eligible for Overtime billing.
