Sr. Java Meanstack Developer
Location: Rockville, MD

Duration: Long Term

 
Demonstrated experiences in MEAN stack (The MEAN stack is MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS (or Angular), and Node.js.
Because all components of the MEAN stack support programs written in JavaScript, MEAN applications can be written in one language for both server-side and client-side execution environments).
Education:
 
BS in Computer Science or related field; Advance degree preferred.
 
Required Skills:
Strong J2EE application full life cycle development experience including specifying, building and deploying on Application servers and Web Services applications.
Strong relational Data Base knowledge/experiences such as Oracle database. Demonstrated experiences in understanding and writing complex queries, stored procedures, best practices in programming for relational databases.
Must have extensive experience programming in Java, J2EE/JAPX, Java Script, PL/SQL, SQL, XML/DTD/XSLT; Git, Jira, Grails, AngularJSP
Linux/Unix and Oracle environment
Excellent verbal communication. Good writing skills such as writing systems or application documentation, etc.
Good team player and is willing to work with domain people (non-IT people) as well as developers and team leader.

Experience/Education:
Expertise with minimum of 8 years Programming experience in core Java/J2EE
 Expertise with minimum of 6 years experience in Javascript, Jscript, other UI development programming languages
Experiences in Unix platform, Linux etc.
Experience with tools such as Eclipse, Visio, Toad, SVN
Iterative development methodologies like Agile / SCRUM.
Must have Bachelors degree in CS or IT

This is a MarkIT-EDM Programmer/Analyst request.

SUMMARY/SCOPE:

Celgene seeks a talented, results-oriented individual to contribute to our informatics and data management initiatives in Research and Early Development (R/ED). This hands-on role interfaces with programs spanning both discovery and translational sciences where processing and interpreting multi-platform and multi-dimensional 'omic' data in pre-clinical and clinical settings is being employed to identify molecular drug targets, characterize MOA, prioritize clinical indications and generate patient selection hypotheses. We are seeking an individual eager to work on managing and processing a wide range of data types in support of R/ED clinical trials and drug development experiments while working in close collaboration with basic research, translational and computational scientists.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

Help define, develop, enhance, and automate processes for queuing and prioritizing data management and curation requests

Assist scientists with tools, processes and data structures needed to support project objectives, including data integration efforts that may span multiple studies or experiments

Help process data to ensure accurate, complete and timely collection, delivery and tracking of analytical information from translational, CRO or collaborating laboratories for curation, ingestion and delivery to computational scientists

Help define, deliver and implement R/ED, collaborator and partner laboratory analytical data management systems, processes and procedures

Work with R/ED study teams to help develop R/ED information management plans that outline data capture, data flow, data queries, manual checks, and data listings needed to ensure data integrity

Participate in comprehensive data review activities in coordination with project and study teams

Work with computational biologists, computational scientists, clinical programmers, vendors and study scientists to help resolve data quality issues

Assist in making data, including raw/interim data, available to R/ED department personnel as required

Acquire user feedback to inform business requirements for future development.

Technology
