Project Description:
Candidate will be responsible for ongoing architecture and day to day operations of the ESD – Client primary identity store, and a large in-memory directory infrastructure. This person needs to be able to lead others within their team and provide thought leadership on data modeling, data platform and data reconciliation design, as well as with "regular business" managing platform outages, stability, data quality and day to day data store issues. They will also be very hands-on with production support in a DevOps team, not just designing and handing off to others.
Skills:
• Directory/NoSQL Data Store administration - Very senior level proficiency with either: Designing/Implementing/Operating a large distributed directory platform (CA Directory/UnboundID/Oracle OUD) or Designing/Implementing/Operating a large distributed multi-site implementation of a NoSQL datastore such as MongoDB.
• Linux administration, in either a large physical or VM infrastructure, with a working knowledge of Network/Server performance troubleshooting
• Programming experience, and writing applications that interact with their NoSQL store of choice in either Java or Perl
• A working knowledge of one or more of the following would be an advantage:
- Cassandra Mongo db
- Elasticsearch
- Spark
- Hadoop (writing custom M/R jobs / using tools like Hive and Pig)
