Job Description:
Responsibilities
· Participates software evaluation and defines the technical implementation.
· Architects and implements a new customer facing cloud service for customers.
· Implements strategies for continuous integration and build processes.
· Produces documentation for applications under development.
· Works with Network Engineering team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
· 6-15 years experience in software engineering, with at least 6 years of C++ and Java network programming experience
· Exceptional understanding of network protocols, network congestion issues, network configurations and how they effect inter and intra-nets, IP and IPv6, sliding window algorithms, VPN technologies.
· Experience with contributing to open source software initiatives.
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering/Computer Science
· Strong programming experience in Java and C++. Very familiar with Java/C++design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
· Experience with agile methodologies.
