EDI Sr. Analyst:
· Must have 5+ years EDI mapping and support experience but interested in a applying that experience to solution design and implementation rather than development
· Experience on the Sterling Integrator tool including mapping, profile setup, connection configuration and processes automation
· Must have excellent communication skills to work directly with trade partners and internal teams to explain current, create new and enhance existing processes
· Must be comfortable and productive in a continuously fast-paced environment
· Provides input on strategic and tactical EDI planning, and implementation of initiatives including automation of processes for alerting internal teams and trade partners of failed documents
· Creates and automates scheduled processes
· Involved with deploying systems using the traditional EDI standards and XML-based Web implementations
· Works directly with trading partners and business in the evaluation, design, development, and implementation of e-commerce solutions
· Participates in project teams to provide input regarding EDI/e-commerce
· Collects and analyzes requirements and determines whether existing EDI maps, processes, and programs will be used or new development is required
· Collects system requirements, techniques, and controls for input on EDI specs
· Setup TP Profiles with new EDI trading partners
· Configure test TP connections with new EDI trading partners
· Develops new and maintain existing EDI transactions specification documents
· Design and test new EDI Transaction maps
· Act as a technical consultant for the trading partners
· Provide tier two technical support day-to-day EDI/e-commerce activity
· Identify opportunities on integration of EDI systems with business systems
· Provides analysis and has input on selection of application software
· Provides insight into EDI operation for the IT Systems Analyst
· Analyze EDI requirements and determine whether existing maps, processes, and programs will be used or new development is required
· Design, create and run or schedule reports on performance and TP activity
· Provide tier two technical support for day-to-day EDI/e-commerce activity
· Educate associates on EDI requirements and capabilities
Research, log and spot trends EDI errors and address with trade partners
