Job Description:
Primary Skills:SQL, .NET, Sharepoint, Ajax, Oracle, Sun solaris, Pro Cobol, Pro C and UNIX scripting

**Face to face required**
•Under the general direction, develops software and modification enhancements to a MMIS through all phases of a system lifecycle.
•Contributes to the company's success through excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding performance objectives.
•Performs assigned technical duties in a timely and responsible manner.
•Ensures that all required project documentation, approvals, transmitted references and signatures are complete as required during the project life cycle.
•Requires the ability to work on an on-call basis during non-work hours.
•Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
•Required Experience: 5-7 years software development experience
•Essential Functions:
oBuilds and maintains major business programming applications of moderate complexity with an understanding of all parameters affecting and interfacing with the application.
oAnalyzes, and validates system requirements for new applications or for changes to existing applications. Applications may have numerous interfaces and span multiple platforms.
oCollaborates with appropriate team members.
oIdentifies/reviews system design alternatives and implements/reviews the appropriate technical design.
oReviews program code and test results for accuracy and for compliance to specifications and standards.
oPerforms complex development or ongoing maintenance and modification.
oCreates test plans and performs testing and debugging.
oKeeps current with the technologies required to enhance and maintain current systems.
oSupports the integration, customization and maintenance of vendor applications.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
oProficient in real time multi-processor UNIX system
oWorking knowledge of ORACLE
oFunctioning knowledge of Sun Solaris UNIX
oGood understanding and the use of Pro Cobol, Pro C and UNIX scripting
oWorking knowledge of NCPDP transaction format
oStrong knowledge of MS Office Suite
oStrong analytical, organizational, problem solving and team building skills
oAbility to be flexible to changing requirements and ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments
oExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
oAbility to abide by company policies
oAbility to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work
oMaintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
oAbility to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, and customers
