· Developing COBOL programs in a Z/OS environment
Job description:
Environment:
This work effort involves providing COBOL and JCL development to support legacy data migration into Mainframe DB2 databases running on Z/OS. The resource will be responsible for development conforming to customer standards and requirements and will be involved in the unit testing and validation against desired outcomes.
The resource is expected to function as part of a team which includes customers and must demonstrate sufficient communication skills to ensure success.
Required:

· Developing COBOL programs in a Z/OS environment
· Developing JCL in a Z\OS environment
· Experience with SQL development
Experience with COBOL, JCL and SQL Error handling
Experience with COBOL, JCL and SQL Debugging
Experience with TSO/ISPF
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be team player and get along well with others
Ability to independently research problems and provide solutions.
Desired Skills:
General REXX knowledge (Highly Desired)
General CICS knowledge (Highly Desired)

DB2 load and unload utilities Endevor
