Location: Greater Boston, Ma

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

BridgePoint Consulting is seeking a talented and tenured Sr. .Net Developer for a contract to hire position in the Greater Boston, MA area. Our client has an immediate need for a .NET Developer to work on development projects.  Preferably our client is seeking a developer with experience in object-oriented software design, delivery and support for web-based applications and services. Additionally the consultant will be contributing to the architecture, design, and coding of our client's next generation web based Enterprise Solution.  Our client's internal applications are used by 600+ employees to manage their business. The platform for this new initiative will be ASP.NET (4.0) backed by the power of C# and Microsoft SQL Server. This individual will be responsible for contributing to the design and coding of business solutions for order management, account management, workflow and many other business functions.

To Qualify:

1.       8+ years of software development

2.       Knowledge of OOP Concepts & Component Design

3.       Ability to generate specs and related unit test plans

4.       Solid verbal and written communication skills

5.       Excellent organizational, problem solving, coding, unit testing and debugging skills

6.       (not required, but a plus) Experience with object-oriented design using CASE tools

7.       5+ years of .NET Technologies (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#)

8.       Web Technologies (ASP, HTML, VBScript, JavaScript)

9.       Relational database knowledge (SQL Server, Oracle); SQL development skills a plus

10.   Experience with Microsoft Workflow Foundation and Business Rules Framework is highly desired

11.   Experience with Microsoft Team System build scripting is highly desired

12.   Experience with enterprise business solutions is highly desired

13.   Experience with telecommunications/telephone business and/or order management applications is highly desired
