 Title: IT ERP Implementation Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC - The interview process begins as a phone interview then if they like the candidate, they will invite candidate in for a face to face interview. If candidate is not local, they will pay interview expenses.


Duration: 6+ Months (Contract to Hire)

Description:

The IT ERP Implementation Analyst's role is to support the planning, design, development, and deployment of AX 2012/MES for core organizational functions in supply chain, finance, and production. In this role, the IT ERP Implementation Analyst will work closely with members from the Business Unit ERP Implementation Team to gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The IT Implementation Analyst is also responsible for generating documentation as prescribed by the Sure Step Implementation Methodology based on their findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. The IT Implementation Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of implementing AX 2012/MES and other ERP related investments.

 

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.

Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.

Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.

 

Acquisition & Deployment:

Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of AX2012/MES, and enhancements to existing applications.

Conduct research on ancillary software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.

 

Operational Management:

Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.

Create system design proposals, while avoiding customizations.

Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.

Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.

Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system developers.

Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.

Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.

Provide guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members.

 

Position Requirements:

Formal Education & Certification

College diploma, university degree, or equivalent business experience in the field of business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems and 10 years related work experience. Microsoft Dynamics AX Certifications for Finance, Production, and/or Trade and Logistics.

 

Knowledge & Experience:

Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

Working technical knowledge of the Microsoft Stack.

Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.

Working knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards.

Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.

Extensive experience with Microsoft Office.

Experience with SQL Database Technology.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.

Work Conditions:

Must reside in the USA and be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC.

Extensive international travel to support the global implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Collaboration in a "War Room" environment.

Interaction in a multi-cultural environment. (Primary communications in English. Secondary languages include French, German, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai.)
