We currently have a 6-12 Months contract opportunity for a RedHat Linux Administrator with our client located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

 

Required Skills:
*_Minimum 4+ Years RedHat Linux experience in a rich culture, corporate environment.
*_Experience in an AIX p-Series platform and VMware environment
* Command of English language required.

Bash, korn, awk, sed and other command line tools
File system management (LVM, multi-path, DRBD, maintenance/repair)
User management (Active Directory, local user management, winbind, etc.)
Kick-start, Satellite and other automated deployments
Network configuration (channel bonding, routing, IPTABLES)
Experience with Perl Test::Harness and other audit tools
Intermediate/Expert bash/Perl scripting
CVS
SNMP v1/v3 configuration
CLI based administration

*_Baseline Unix skills
 Performance tuning (understanding of all fields in iostat, vmstat, ps output)
 Monitoring utilities
 Log management
 SSH/Open SSH (key management, tunnels, security configuration)
NFS, CIFS maintenance and troubleshooting
Network troubleshooting (tcpdump, dig, etc.)
*_Experience with VMWare/KVM Environments
Clone/Template based installations
Performance considerations
VM Specific troubleshooting
Automated deployments via virsh
*_Documentation
Create automated reports to PDF (e.g., LaTEX, docbook, etc..)
Document existing processes (Word, Visio, Excel)
Document troubleshooting steps
