Mobile Solutions Tester – Senior Consultant
Location: Raleigh/Durham, NC.
Rate is $60 all in. 5-7 months /possible extension
Mobile Solutions Tester – Senior Consultant
Technical Responsibilities:
Candidate who has done Testing of Mobile and hybrid applications across platforms and devices
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum 3 years' of proven experience in testing Native & Hybrid Mobile applications across platforms ( iOS, Android) across various network connections
- Writing and executing test cases.
- Running manual and automated testing for Mobile applications.
- Deliver high quality, low to zero defect releases
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
- Experience with Black and White-box testing
- Previous experience within a web or application technologies environment for fast paced delivery of streaming content, preferably in the media space
- Strong knowledge of smoke testing, regression testing, test case creation, and applying automation testing to improve the delivery of the team
- Extensive experience in using Automation tools like Ruby Cucumber/ QTP, SOAP UI, and Performance Testing Tools.
Desired requirements:
- In addition this role will provide leadership in continuously improving the department's test planning, design and execution using an Agile methodology. Travel required.
- Experience in researching and implementing new tools and techniques that improve testing results.
- Experience in creating plans and leading other technical team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of Agile development practices.
- Experience with Cloud based Mobile testing tools (Perfecto Mobile, etc)
- Experience with network performance analysis tools
- Experience with Systems performance analysis tools (LoadRunner, etc)
- Experience with Quality reporting and analysis tools (HP Quality Center, etc)
- Experience with Project tracking and workflow tools (Jira, etc)
- Experience with Web / Mobile Application Security tools (Burp Suite, etc)
