Integration Engineer

Description:
The Integration Engineer is responsible for configuration Management, deployment and installations of software applications for all internal and external projects.
Main duties are:
• Version control of software source code
• Maintaining development, integration and production environments for projects
• Development of automation tools and scripts
• Database configuration and setup
• Creating and maintaining build, package and deployment processes
Job Requirements:
Computer Science, MIS, Bachelor of Science or related
Years Experience:
2 -4 years of practical system integration experience or equivalent
Essential special training requirements:
Administrator level experience in Linux and Unix style operating systems, SQL experience, DB2 preferred, ability to multitask and communicate with project/product team members. Scripting with shell and Perl, familiarity with Java and J2EE, knowledge of Perl, C and C++ is a plus. Must possess a good understanding of development process and technology. Must be able to work with multiple teams and personalities to ensure end to end integration of products.
Candidates must have:
• Good Communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel when needed
• Familiarity with Linux and/or Unix scripting, Java and Ant
• Experience in application build, deployment and configuration process
We prefer candidates with:
• Administrator level experience in Linux and UNIX operating systems
• J2EE Application servers (Jboss, Websphere)
• Ability to multitask and communicate with project/product team members
• Knowledge of Shell scripting, Perl, Ruby, Maven, Ant, JAVA, C
• Knowledge of Subversion and Git version control systems
• Good understanding of development process and technology
• Ability to work with multiple teams and personalities to ensure end-to-end integration of products
