Job Title: Performance Test Lead
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Sterling, VA
 
Job Description:
 
• Hands on experience with Jmeter
• Hands-on skill working with Jenkins and JMETER integration (Installation, creation of Jobs etc.,)
• Develop and execute performance test plans for target systems, sub-systems, and components in order to identify software problems and their causes
• Understanding visibility needs of customer and implementing policies, rules, metrics and RCA using APM tools
• Hands on experience with DynaTrace or AppDynamics
• Good understanding of synthetic testing concepts and implementation
• Experience in Root cause analysis of performance / business issue with in the architecture
•Communicate with Product Analyst in creating acceptance tests as part of the requirements, and then execute those tests with the necessary automation tools
•Good knowledge with Transaction Mapping, Crash Detection and Diagnosis, Component Deep Dive Monitoring, Problem resolution , Metrics and Policy configurations using diagnostic and APM tools
• Responsible for driving all the activities of Performance Testing Life Cycle
• Adapting the Agile and CI Performance Testing Framework and Strategy
• Good knowledge of HTTP protocol and network concepts like DNS, IPv4, IPv6
• Enhancing the existing Performance testing suite Work with multiple teams that include Environment, release and Dev teams
• Participate in the ongoing improvement of the performance of our enterprise application
• Design and develop automated performance, stability, scalability and reliability test suites using Jmeter
• Discover thresholds and data impact
• Participate in the constant improvement of Performance Test Automation practices
• Test execution and results analysis
• Analyze defects and test results and deduce the chain of events leading to a failure
• Create reports that describe detected defects and possible causes
