Job Description
Candidates will require a minimum of 3 years of industry experience and a solid delivery track record. Previous must have previous experience and demonstrated expertise with:
o OO design principles
o Core Java 1.6 or greater – Collections, IO, threads, etc.
o Spring Framework dependency injection
o Hibernate / JPA
o Databases and SQL
o REST web services
o JMS and message driven processes
o Software development in both a Linux and Windows environment
Candidates must be able to independently
· Analyze existing software components and processes in a multithreaded environment
· Determine required changes to existing processes to support new functionality
· Design and review changes and to existing and new components
· Propose and implement improvements to existing infrastructure
· Develop automated unit tests of new and existing processes
· Develop automated regression tests of new and existing processes
· Document changes for new features including software design artifacts and operational support documents
· Follow SDLC controls and best practices for software development
· Participate and contribute in team discussions in an agile environment
Provide production support of software processes when escalated from L1/L2 support staff to help analyze, root cause and resolve runtime issues in a live
