Title: ETL Developer
Location: Enfield, CT
Duration: 6-12 Months
Qualifications:
Possesses a working knowledge of at least one structured programming language. Provides consultative advice on technology and foundational solutions to business solutions. Provides an awareness of programming and design alternatives. Writes, translates, codes, and unit tests software programs and applications according to specifications. Leads and Drives code reviews to insure that code is maintainable, meets standards, and meets the design and business requirements. Supports the implementation of the code into the different environment. Performs first line support of deployed environments until turnover to services is complete. Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines. (See skills for specific system/language requirements)
Skills Required:
Informatica, Oracle SQL, Oracle Pl/SQL, Business Objects, Unix scripting, and Dos scripting.
Extensive programming experience. Degree in Computer Science or Math or equivalent work experience. Excellent knowledge of programming language and techniques. Good knowledge of programming methodology and tools. Good knowledge of third party software and hardware options. Knowledge of web authoring tools. Aware of particular business functional area/areas and appropriate software applications. Good communication skills.
