Required Skills:
* 7+ years design and development experience with Oracle database & PL/SQL
* Expertise in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Client/Server Connectivity, Database consistency checks using DBCC Utilities.
* Expertise in writing and debugging stored procedures ,triggers, Optimizing Code and Improving Efficiency in databases including Re-indexing, Updating Statistics, Recompiling Stored Procedures and performing other maintenance tasks.
* Experience with Unix/Linux/Solaris/AIX/HP-UX and Shell Scripting experience
Desired Skills:
* Telecom experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Support a large scale effort to upgrade/migrate a multiple applications from older versions of Oracle databases to current versions
* Make continuous process improvements thru performance enhancements, automation of manual process steps.
* Support the migration of Application Software, Database and Operating System
