Java Developer
Location: Ashburn - VA
Duration: 6+Months


Responsible for the development of J2EE web application software. Focus will be on a "big data" project collecting log data for analysis.

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- 5+ years Commercial SW development experience
- 5+ years J2EE development utilizing EJB and Struts
- Experience with Hadoop, Cassandra and/or elasticsearch
- Experience developing entire stack of J2EE technologies (DB, middle-tier, front end)
- Experience with ORM (object relational mapping) technologies
- Some experience with SQL and JBoss
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related engineering field

Preferred:
- Experience with prior "big data" projects
- Experience with Linux and development on a Unix based system
- Experience with Eclipse IDE
- Experience with Ant and Maven build scripting languages
- Experience with C/C++/Perl
- Experience with Win32 API
- Security and Compliance domain knowledge
