Position Title: Middle-Tier .NET Developer (Analyst/Developer 10+ Years)

Location: Everett, WA

Duration: 9 months

 

Frontier Communications is looking for a talented software engineer to assist in designing and creating the next generation of internal and external desktop, web, and mobile applications to provision, manage, and deliver services to our subscribers. We are in need of an experienced .NET Developer (C#, .NET, SQL, WCF) who can take an active role in designing and implementing class hierarchies, web services, and other middle-tier code to meet functional requirements within the Telecom domain.

Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of recent experience with the C# programming language and .NET framework.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using most or all of the following: ASP.Net, MVC, C#, ADO.Net / ORM (NHibernate, Entity Framework), JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, XML, Web services
• Experience using Microsoft Team foundation server in a professional environment
• 5+ years of experience with SQL databases, including T-SQL and creation/use of stored procedures and triggers
• UML modeling
• OOA/OOD skills
• Familiarity with tools and methodologies supporting application design and development
• Strong communication both verbal and written, excellent organizational skills, proven experience in collaboration with teams to achieve end result
• Ability to work in fast-paced Agile environment to deliver requirements on specified dates
• Work very well independently, with strong self-direction and initiative, as well as within a team structure

Other Skills and Competencies
Required:
• 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining SQL databases, preferably MS SQL Server

Strongly Desired
• Experience writing and deploying WCF web services

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities
Design and implement business logic using the C# programming language. Design and implement architecture components to specifications using the C# programming language. Design and implement server-side code to support GUI implementations using the C# language in an ASP.NET or MVC3 web application. Interact with Business Analysts and the user community during the development process. Produce all technical documentation and design using modeling tools. Identify problems uncovered by testing or user feedback and correct problems.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
5+ years ASP.NET, C#, Web Services development experience

Responsibility level
Exercises moderate independent judgment with input from Lead Developers / PMs / Management.
