ROLE: OBIEE Sr. Systems Analyst/Engineer

DURATION: 6+ months

LOCATION: Burlington, MA

BridgePoint Consulting a global IT Consultancy and talent acquisition practice located in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a OBIEE Sr. Systems Analyst/Engineer who will assist our client with the architecture, design, development, implementation, support, maintenance and future roadmap of the OBI platform. The Sr. Systems Analyst/Engineer will work directly with internal and external partners in the business and GIS to design and deliver BI solutions, utilizing the OBIEE Foundation Suite and Analytics Applications.  The Sr. Systems Analyst is adept at all stages of the systems development life cycle, including requirements definition, solution design, development, unit testing, user acceptance testing, validation, and production support.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work directly with client account managers, business analysts and business customers to understand current/future BI requirements, and design solutions using the OBIEE platform
2. Collaborate with external implementation partners to deploy OBI Analytics applications
3. Assist with architecture and design of the OBIEE data model
4. Participate as Technical Lead and/or Systems Analyst on OBIEE projects to be delivered on time, within budget and with good quality
5. Assist with day-to-day support and maintenance activities for the OBIEE platform
6. Manage phases of OBIEE related projects as needed
7. Partner with external support and DBA resources for platform and project needs
8. Work with Internal Controls and audit support teams as needed to meet SOX/GxP regulation and change management requirements

•  REQUIRED SKILLS:  Pharmaceutical industry experience required and Informatica 5+ yrs

 

1. Oracle OBIEE Foundation Suite (11g required)
2. Oracle BI Applications for EBS (7.9.6 preferred)
3. Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Java, scripting languages
4. Databases: Oracle (11g preferred)
5. OS: Linux, Windows
6. Weblogic, Hyperion Essbase, Informatica, and/or Talend experience a major plus
7. Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) experience preferred (11.5.10 and/or 12.x)

 Additional Skills

1. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
2. Solid analytical and problem solving abilities
3. Project management and system life cycle expertise

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• B.S. and 5+ year's relevant work experience
