Short Project Description:

The NJ MATRX project is a technology modernization effort for the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC). The system under development is the MATRX System (Motor Vehicle Automated Transaction System) and will replace the current primary computer systems, known as the Comprehensive System and the Agency System.

 

Job Description:

This position is responsible for Developing J2EE applications with a focus on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) technologies in consultation with other architectural teams and client. J2EE Developer will be responsible for system modeling and designing of Service Oriented Architecture large scale systems. Responsible to develop best business practices to enable applications to deliver the highest business value, reduce costs, and shorten delivery cycles and to deliver quality. This individual provides hands-on technical leadership as well as manages client relationships within context of individual role.

Skill Set… The highlighted technologies are mandatory.

 

·         6+ Years of experience with J2EE stack with good object oriented concepts

·         3+ years on IBM Websphere Application server.

·         Strong Java web interface development skills - MVC patterns, Servlets, JSPs, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

·         3+ years of experience implementing Java Server Faces (version 1.2 and above), RichFaces components and Facelets, Spring MVC or Spring Webflow

·         3+ year experience using Ajax frameworks.

·         3+ year experience implementing server side code using Spring, ORM support with JPA  and Hibernate

·         2+ Years hands on experience with Spring

·         2+ Year hands on experience with EJBs

·         2+ years hands on experience with ORM support with JPA and Hibernate and exposure to Hibernate tools.

·         1+ year experience of using jUnit

·         1+ year experience with Web Services development

·         Experience in creating UML diagrams using Rational suite.

·         Working knowledge of relational database systems including Oracle. Database knowledge should include mastery of SQL, exposure to database schema design, and understanding differences in application interaction with Oracle, writing stored procedures.

·         Exposure to JMS and WebSphere MQ is a plus

·         Exposure to EJB 3.0 is a plus.

·         Exposure to AIX o/s is a plus.

·         Knowledge of FileNet content manager is a plus

·         Knowledge of JRule Rule Engine is a plus

·         Knowledge of Sun Identity Management, BPM, and reporting tools like Crystal/BI is a plus
