General Information

 

Title: Microsoft WPF Software Development Consultant
Department: Product Development
Group: Software Development

Description
Help in the development of the VistaSTAR project including, but not limited to, client software application for process analyzers and analyzer networks in C# using WPF and MVVM architecture pattern.

Primary Responsibilities
· Develop software for the VistaSTAR client application with design documentation to support implementation
· Working from design and performance specifications to implement system software requirements.
· Support team in WPF development
· Software verification and validation management
· Utilize software configuration management

 

Required Skills
· Understanding of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) binding
· Understanding of WPF controls
· Understanding of MVVM architecture patterns - primarily binding and performance
· Use of 3rd party WPF controls (Infragistics, DevExpress, ComponentOne, Telerik, Visifire)
· Custom WPF Control development is a plus
· Strong understanding of .NET, C#, and XAML
· Understanding of OPC specification is a plus

Education and Experience
· 5 - 8 years (min) software development experience in .NET, C#.
· 3 years (min) experience with WPF
