POSITION: Senior IaaS Network Cloud Architect

LOCATION: Burlington, MA

DURATION: 6+ months

BridgePoint Consulting a global IT Consultancy and Talent Acquisition practice located in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Senior IaaS Network Software Architect for a 6 + month contract in Burlington, MA. The selected resource will assist our client in consolidating and improving its infrastructure to better enable additions, enhancements and new technology. To do this, they are specifying an Infrastructure as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment that they will utilize to host their mission capabilities.  They are specifically developing a specification of the architecture, standards, protocols and guidelines, as well as the products and configurations that implement the IaaS.  The resource selected will have experience specifying/developing/utilizing IaaS environments and a strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, TCP/IP Stacks, and underlying Optical Transport Systems.   Knowledge in various IP routing protocols and networking technologies such as IGP, BGP, MPLS, VPN, VPLS, Carrier Ethernet, IPSec and Firewall; proficiency in LAN, MAN, WAN network architecture design, data center network design, integration, and the network deployment.
