Senior Technical Consultant 
12 months

*upon offer, candidates must complete a background and drug screen*

Title: Senior Technical Consultant, Energy Management System.

Responsibilities:
- Support the existing EMS environment, consisting of a Siemens based EMS, WECCnet, RMRG, PI and other applications.
- Provides subject matter expertise in the requested technology or application.
- Assists client in implementing, upgrading or optimizing specific technology.
- Utilizes professional expertise to perform analysis, project management and/or development activities with technology.
- Work with the PSCo EMS Application, Database and Integration, teams to support the current EMS environment.
- Work with Real Time Planning and Operations to support Network loads, Training, WECC, RMRG and other updates required by the Business as needed.
- Assistance with the on-going migration from a Siemens based EMS to a GE POWER ON system may be required.

Top skills:
- Significant experience supporting an Electric SCADA environment in an IT, Application or Engineering role is required.
- Preferred would be a Siemens EMS, though others will be considered.
- Experience supporting Network and Power Applications is required (NA, GDC, AGC, etc. .

Required:
- BA or Advanced degree in Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of five years of proven experience working with Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Familiarity with Power and Advanced applications Familiarity with OSIsoft PI.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Able to pass background check High proficiency in developing Unix application scripts, C and VB programming.
