Global Information Security Program and managing multiple sub-projects as part of a 5-6 person core team within the Policy Management organization; however, will need to work with a wide range of additional subject matter experts and cross functional team participants
Top Responsibilities:
•Analysis of revised policies, standards and downstream processes and practices to ensure closed loop of documentation and work flow.
•Monitoring execution of specific tasks and activities to successful completion
•Capturing and reporting accurate project progress and metrics
•Researching issues/problems, and coordinate resolution with multiple Subject matter experts
•Assist with testing of new processes and automated work flow
•Develop publication-ready content for enterprise-level security policy and standards documents, based on existing documents and additional guidance to be provided.
•Ensure guidance language is understandable and actionable by a broad audience, which will include
•International and domestic personnel. NOTE: Documentation will be prepared only in English; however, the wording and structure must allow for easy translation into a variety of languages at a later time
•Business, Information Technology, and Security personnel
•External parties, such as external customers and auditors
•Provide recommendations on structure approach for security policies and standards
•Assist with publication of approved content into Archer eGRC tool
•Assist in the creation of job aids and reference documentation for changes in downstream processes and practices that are based on the policies in their new format
Software tools/skills needed:
•Office automation tools (MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook, PowerPoint).
•Archer eGRC tool
Must have skills:
•Tracking and monitoring successful completion of tasks
•Experience working with multiple stakeholders and SMEs throughout a large, decentralized organization
•Ability to work with and support business, IT, and security stakeholders, ranging from technologist to senior leaders
•Demonstrated ability to gather and consolidate different sets of requirements into a unified set of requirements
•Experience developing enterprise-level security policy standards documentation, for both US and International requirements
•Experience writing technical and non-technical content which can easily be translated from English into other languages
•Ability to accept content input from a combination of legal, technology, and security Subject matter experts, and develop consolidated guidance which is usable and understandable by a wide range of business, technology, and security personnel, world-wide
•Ability to make recommendations as to policy and standard structure, style, and language
Nice to have:
•Experience with Archer eGRC tool strongly desired
•Experience in Healthcare or related environment
•Experience working with, in, or supporting information security discipline
•Experience with supporting policy development work strongly desired
•Ability to work with and support business, IT, and security stakeholders, ranging from technologist to senior leaders
•Ability to work independently
