Summary: This dashboard developer opportunity is in the Business Intelligence area of the client. Business Intelligence partners with all lines of business to deploy reporting and analytics solutions. This project is to deploy a 2nd major release for a complex Business Objects Dashboard (formerly Xcelsius) tracking our workforce, called the Human Capital Report. The dashboard us used by executives across the organization to manage and predict our changing workforce, including headcount, attrition, labor costs, and performance.
Role and Responsibilities:
•Modify or build new functionality with BusinessObjects Dashboard 4.1 (Xcelsius), using QaaWS
•Collaborate with the business to visualize and design reports, dashboards, and analytics
•Collaborate with ETL lead/developers to develop data marts, dimensional models, and aggregations to support 1-3 second response times with appropriate detail for the required drilling needs
•Support core Business Analytics team, participating in the complete development lifecycle, including analysis, design, build, and test
Essential Qualifications:
•Three-plus years of hands-on experience with the BusinessObjects 4.1 Dashboard (Xcelsius) tool, using QaaWS
•Minimum three years experience with Business Objects toolsets, including, Designer and WebIntelligence
•Strong design skills for making data visualizations meaningful to executive and operational management
•Broad understanding of reporting technologies a bonus, including report delivery methodologies, data visualizations, effective KPIs, scorecards, and business process monitoring
•Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence
•Proficiency in SQL in both transactional and star-schema environments
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•Personal qualities: innovation, resourcefulness, tenacity, independence, energy, and self-confidence
