Position: Unica Administrators/ Marketing Analyst
Location: Minneapolis
Duration: 6month contract
Job Requirements:
This position is responsible for planning and developing mail files for direct marketing campaigns. This individual will foster strong relationships with internal clients and collaborate with them to proactively develop and maintain portfolio management campaign calendars and plans.
This position requires an understanding of marketing and customer data, relational database models, and experience in SQL programming and Oracle databases as well as familiarity with Business Intelligence and Campaign Management applications such as UNICA, Oracle Discover, Cognos and/or SAS. The analyst should also have the capability to translate the raw data into presentable and easily understood reports for our internal clients. This position requires a technical person with a strong understanding of direct marketing and list processing.
· Specifically, this person will:
· Manage the successful execution of list management from conception to completion including finalizing selection criteria, list selection and segmentation, data scrubbing, QA/QC, auditing, and campaign performance reporting.
· Work with internal clients to understand their direct marketing and information needs and support their marketing programs through providing mailing lists for direct mail campaigns.
· Provide consultation on customer data and recommendations on campaign design and targeting
· Continuously enhance and improve the campaign design and implementation process
· Design and implement appropriate audits and QA/QC protocols and ensure high integrity of campaigns.
· Continually improve campaign planning and execution process
· Provide recommendations for portfolio management marketing and performance tracking efforts
Experience:
· 1+ year of experience in campaign design, list processing, and/or customer profiling and reporting.
· Experience with direct marketing preferably in the credit card or banking industry is a plus.
· Experience with a direct/database marketing agency/vendor is also preferred
· 2+ years of SQL and Oracle experience preferred. Experience with Unica Affinium Plan and Campaign applications or other Campaign Management applications is strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Must have very good project planning and management skills and ability to develop and manage campaign calendars and plans.
· Must have strong client orientation and excellent customer service skills
· The candidate will be asked to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines. Therefore ability to prioritize and multitasking are important.
· Understanding of relational databases and superior database analysis skills are required.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
· Excellent oral/written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as in teams.
