Expert understanding of database scripting and Data Warehouse development. Should be able to write 'complex' SQL scripts. Any experience with Netezza or other MPP Appliance ELT development is a big plus.

 

Data Warehouse  – 3 opening

Houston, TX

6 Months Contract

 

Qualifications and Experience:

·         5+ years of Data Warehouse (EDW) development using PL/SQL or similar in Oracle, Teradata or Netezza

·         7+ years of IT experience

·         5 + years of database experience with Oracle (10/11g) and/or Teradata/Netezza

·         2 + years of Unix based shell scripting

·         Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and guide junior development team members

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Develop ELT scripts to integrate data in a Netezza based EDW

·         Develop database Netezza SQL scripts

·         Provide appropriate solution for building Data Marts into an enterprise data warehouse for faster throughput and performance

·         Work with Informatica ETL developers and data modelers for data integration

 

Education and Experience

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration
