| Job Description | We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Modeler for ongoing analysis of health care information, obtained from a variety of sources, including patient care, financial, and demographic data. It involves development and preparation of information products for association staff and members. It requires the ability to analyze health care data from conceptualization through presentation of the data. Required Skills · Experience in using Erwin Data Modeler including its forward and reverse engineering feature set. · Experience defining system integration models combining data from disparate source systems and creation of semantic layer for reporting keeping ETL and database performance in mind. · Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required. · Deep understanding of developing enterprise data models that meet normalization rules as well as enterprise data warehouses using Kimball, Inmon, or hybrid methodologies. · Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files: analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products. · Familiarity with various types and sources of health care information, including financial and patient-level data files. · Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. · Comfortable working independently, with experience working in a team environment.
Primary responsibilities include: · Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests. · Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data. · Use and support database applications and analytical tools: evaluate data quality, applications, and functions, produce output, maintain operation · Research new data sources and analytical tools; contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation. · Responsible for the creation of logical and physical data models serving Client's Data Warehousing and BI program
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field. Undergraduate or graduate coursework in statistics, data analysis, research methods. • 2-5 years experience in data analysis, decision support, including demonstrated proficiency with analytical software. |
