Digital Mobile Product Designer
Location: Chevy Chase,MD
Duration: 6+months


Complete Description:
We're on the hunt for talent. We're a leading travel lifestyle brand, providing highly engaging, content rich user experience across multiple platforms and devices. We take our users beyond their everyday destinations, making the unfamiliar familiar, whether it's around the world or around the block. We're looking for an insanely creative digital design contractor to solve complex design problems in the web and mobile space. (This is not a print design position.)


Your work:
Your portfolio exemplifies a range interesting work with a solid sense of color, grid/hierarchy, typography, and legibility.
You've lead high profile projects from beginning to completion.
We're not looking for just a pixel pusher, we're looking for a product designer with a vision.
You create pixel perfect visual PSDs for development per industry standard Photoshop etiquette. You understand that design is an iterative process and prefer to work closely with developers.
You're not a diva, and you see feedback as an opportunity to make a product design better. You keep a user focus, but also work with various stakeholders through the design and development process.

Your work ethic:
You're self-motivated and can work independently, making deadlines consistently.
You're able to re-order project priorities on short notice and adapt to changing objectives. You do all of this with a flexible, positive attitude.

Our Requirements:
Bachelor's or above in Graphic Design or related field
At least four years experience in interactive design
Master of Adobe CS and Mac OS
Working knowledge of web standards, usability, SEO, and best practices
A passion for digital trends and design industry best practices
Ability to translate business goals and functional requirements into compelling design solutions
