System Administrator, IBM Watson Explorer
8+ Month Contract

Mandatory Skills 
• Knowledge on Enterprise search architecture 
• Experience with IBM Watson Data Explorer/Vivisimo or other similar search products 
• Experience in Java, J2EE, XML, XSL, Linux, Shell script, performance troubleshooting 
• Working knowledge and understanding of Networking/Routing concepts, Checkpoint firewalls, F5 load balancers 
• Experience in Apache, Websphere Liberty Profile (WLP) servers 
• Very detail oriented and experienced working in a production environment using Change Control practices. 
• Ability to work independently, follow project plans and meet expected timelines. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required 
• Experience in Tivoli Job Scheduler 

Preferred Skills: 
• Ability to design and develop custom connectors 
• Ability to integrate LDAP with Watson DE and configure user profile settings 
• Ability to configure and customize content converters (Pipeline stages) 
• Ability to configure and customize application search interface using Watson App builder 
• Ability to design and develop search interface using Watson SOAP/REST APIs 
• Knowledge in Watson Explorer business console Administration 
• Knowledge in Relevancy configuration and customization 
• Knowledge in managing synonyms, content promotion/demotion, best bets. 
• Knowledge in Alerts configuration 
• Should be able to communicate with product vendor, client architects and business owners 
• Should be able to direct work and coordinate with onsite and offshore team members 
• Should be able to coordinate with cross functional teams 

Education: Undergrad required.
