Duration: Long-term contract (12 months+)

 

 

Mode of interview: Phone and onsite

SUMMARY

This position will have a primary focus on developing internal and external 3-Tier web and mobile applications using ASP.NET, MVC.NET (C#) and web services. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in performing UI design functions utilizing CSS/HTML, JQuery and JavaScript. Solutran developers work closely with product managers, business analysts and management; this provides the right person an opportunity to not only build applications, but also have direct input into product development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop web applications using ASP.NET/MVC.NET (C#)
• Develop user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JQuery
• Participate in application and database design
• Participate in Agile/SCRUM development process
• Software testing/debugging
• Off-hours support as needed
• Other duties may be assigned

• Microsoft SQL Server
• Redhat Linux
• Microsoft Windows (XP, 7, 2003/2008 Server)

 INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS

• Internal customers (client employees) 90%
• Outside service providers (5%)
• External customers (5%)

 QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

• Bachelors or Associate degree in computer science, or proven experience as a software developer
• 2+ years of proven web development experience using ASP.Net, MVC.NET (C# or VB)
• Proven experience participating in team software development projects
• Proven analytical and communication skills

 PREFERRED

• Web services/SOA
• Java Scripting/AJAX
• Web design
• AGILE/SCRUM
