Sr. Front End Java Developer with Javascript

Looking for a Senior Web Application Developer that is ready to build cutting edge web applications that deliver mission critical weather information to premier businesses around the world including General Electric, United Airlines and the NCAA. Our product portfolio consists of customer facing solutions delivered via browser enabled platforms and mobile platforms including Android and IOS based devices.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop high performance, real-time software for a portfolio of web enabled weather information products.
• Contribute to the architecture framework of Software as a Service delivery model.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Customer Support on the evolution of the online product suite
• Contribute the optimization of continuous improvement of the software development process.
• Interface with global development teams on software development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science required; additional training, education, or certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years relevant work experience developing web based applications in an Open Source environment.Deep experience with Java and JSP is required.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience full lifecycle development within an organization focused on developing customer facing solutions.
• Minimum 4 years professional experience using web development tools consisting of JavaScript jQuery, Ajax, CSS, Struts, Tiles, and HTML.
• Experience with the Agile Development highly desired
• Mobile solution development within Android and IOS frameworks a plus
