Job Title: Lead J2EE/JSF/PrimeFaces Developer
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Duration: 3-Month Contract
Start date: Immediately

We are seeking a Professional/Technical Services to augment staff for the analysis, design, and development of enterprise J2EE application we are developing for our client.

Project
Specific deliverables will be determined by the individual development supervisor and approved by its management. In general terms the individuals filling this role will need to provide the following technical services:applications.

• You will be responsible for leading the development of a JSF/PrimeFaces front-end, and must be able to develop the JSF/PrimeFaces architecture.
• Work with the development supervisor and team on the development of a new Java based appliction.
• Work with business analyst and technical lead to understand business requirements.
• Track and report status of assigned work to the technical lead, applications supervisor, and / or project manager.
• Assist in developing and executing module and system test plans.
• Support Quality Assurance staff during the QA phase by providing documentation or answering questions about the functionality of the application, and correcting reported defects.
• Support other system development staff with understanding or integration issues.
• Support Help Desk staff by answering questions about application functionality or assistance with identifying bugs or design flaws.
• Support trainers and technical writers by describing application functionality.
• Providing training/ knowledge transfer.

 Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience;
• 3+ years of JSF development experience;
• 2+ years of PrimeFaces architecture and development experience; and
• Demonstrated experience within open-source platform (myFaces, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, and Websphere Application Server) and IBM DB2.
