Description Engagement Type: Contract Short Description: Description of Services: Perform Software Application testing for MIRIS. Activities include use of HP Testing Tools to document and record application testing, executing test cases, and communicating effectively both verbally and textually. Description of Deliverables: •The Software Application Tester will share joint responsibility with MIRIS SQA to own the testing requirements. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: oAdhere to the project schedules oThoroughly read and understand the business requirements/functional specifications for the project (Clarify ambiguous specifications with project team) oDevelop Test Plans as necessary (Strategy of how to execute the test cases) oDevelop Test Cases (the test scenarios) and Data Sets oExecute Test Cases oDocument Test Results oLog incidents oAssist the project team in dispositioning the incidents Perform follow-up activities such as: •Edit test cases as necessary •Re-test as necessary •Update testing documentation as necessary •Develop a Test Summary Report upon successful completion of the testing phase of the project and securing sign-off by project manager Desired skills include experience with HP testing tools such as Quality Center, and knowledge of key-word automation methodology. Behavior Characteristics: •Candidate must possess strong analytical thinking skills, excellent documentation skills, ability to team with people at all levels, and skills in coping with ambiguous situations.
