St. Louis, MO for 12 months (renewable after 1 year)

 

Client is seeking an individual to develop high-fidelity web applications and web sites, based on provided graphic designs and requirements.  This individual will have a strong focus on front-end development, with an understanding of all areas of web development.  Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years experience in front-end web design, including HTML/DHTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, and AJAX.

Required Skills: 

 

-        Ability to work in a team environment, from making pixel perfect sites and web applications that meet design requirements to integrating code with the back-end development team

-        Strong working knowledge of Photoshop; ability to slice PSD's to prepare for HTML integration

-        Expert-level skills in HTML/DHTML & CSS

-        Expert-level skills in JavaScript

-        Strong skills in JQuery and similar JavaScript libraries and frameworks

-        Strong skills in AJAX and consuming RESTful web services

-        Eclipse IDE

-        Maven

-        Interwoven TeamSite/LiveSite Content Management System (CMS)

-        Front-end development experience with multi-browsers (Firefox/Internet Explorer/Chrome)

 

Desired Skills:

 

-        Experience with Adobe Flex / AS3

-        HTML 5 & CSS 3

-        Mobile browser development

-        Java JDK 1.5/1.6

-        Java web applications
