Position: AIX Admin

12 Months contract

Muscatine, IA

Need someone to start immediately

·        5 + years experience in administrating IBM P-series servers running AIX.

·        Lpar Build,  micro partitioning and D-lpar operations 

·        Strong knowledge on AIX 6.x trouble shooting skills.

·        AIX logical volume manager and jfs2.

·        Hands on experience with HMCs(Hardware Management Console)

·        Advanced virtualization on P-series servers.

·        Experience on virtual I/O servers.

·        Experience in building, moving and maintain AIX lpars,

·        Experience with Live Partition Mobility

·        NIM server administration and NIM installs.

·        Mksysb Installs and Disaster Recovery.

·        Os migrations and applying patches and security fixes on regular basis.

·        Working experience on fast phased 24X7 production support

·        Scripting experience in PERL/Shell.

·        Fiber attached storage IBM and EMC.

• Working knowledge of working with SAN and the IBM SVC.
