• Responsible for administering and managing Linux servers in Production Environment.
• Perform remote administration operations using SSH based Remote Console
• Perform incremental and full backup/Restores.
• Problem determination and resolution on a 24x7 basis.
• Creation and updating of Document when required
• Develop and maintain scripts using Shell/PERL
• Very strong Shell scripting skills
• Should be able to install Linux on Intel hardware

Skills: Linux Level - 2

Certifications: Wipro / Linux Certifications

Client Environment: Advanced System Administration skills. Ability to create mount points, file systems, add disk and allocate system resources to meet the needs of development are essential. Will be asked to follow documentation and processes to complete highly technical LINUX work on operating system patching, software installation and upgrades. The resource must be able to do so without guidance or constant oversight
