We are really looking for someone who knows how to setup proxies (more than one brand (apache, squid…) and more than one type (forward, reverse)…). We need someone who has done security operations systems admin.
9+ years of experience. Looking for a Senior Resource.

RED HAT Certification
Must have someone who has CISSP.
Plans, installs, tests, and maintains systems. Required to contribute to the selection, design, and implementation of hardware, Operating Systems, and technical solutions to solve business problems. Includes maintaining and improving on client's strict technical standards as it relates to performance and availability. Ability to serve as a technical lead for project implementation, drive technical site escalations to conclusion and provide a leadership example to junior staff members.
Generally:
Plans, installs, tests, and maintains systems. Contributes to selection, design, and implementation of hardware, Operating Systems, and technical solutions to solve business problems. Includes maintaining and improving on eBay's strict technical standards as it relates to performance and availability.
Hard Skills:
Responsible for operationally excellent management and implementation of Unix/Linux based security focused systems including but not limited to proxies (reverse and forward), bastions, SSH services, SSO, scripting, etc. Experience with open source software is required. Strong preference given to automation experience (i.e. Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible...). A moderate understanding of encryption technology and networking is preferred. Developer experience is preferred. Additional experience with Windows is nice but not required.
Soft Skills:
Is able to work as part of a team and follow disciplined processes. Can effectively balance work across a variety of projects. Communicates well in both written and verbal form. Ability to serve as a technical lead for project implementation, drive technical site escalations to conclusion and provide a leadership example to junior staff members. Is able to perform well under pressure and can troubleshoot on the fly when necessary.
