This is a hands-on engineering position, responsible for full ownership of major features within projects that are part of various Client products and services, and contribute towards taking Client forward as a marketplace.
Client is the nation's largest ticket marketplace.
This position is part of our Broker Tools team that prides itself in creating best of class inventory management tools used by global brokers to list inventory on Client .
· Collaborate with Architecture and Development leads on the design of projects.
· Deliver features with high quality through important software development processes like continuous integration and code-reviews.
· Collaborate with development leads to manage feature and bug queues.
· Assist with product design and documenting design.
· Work in a fast paced, agile environment, collaborating with peers from around the world.
· Understand, absorb and evangelize good software engineering practices, always be learning and help Client be the best engineering team.
Job Requirements :
· Lead medium to large-sized development projects that follow an Agile/Scrum methodology
· 8+ years hands-on experience in C# and server-side .NET Framework 4.5 development
· Expertise with ASP.NET MVC 5 Framework, WCF and Web Services
· Working knowledge of SQL Server 2012, SQL Queries and Stored Procedures
· Knowledge of NUnit, mocking and related test automation strategies and frameworks
· Extensive experience with object-oriented programming and strong understanding of multithreading and parallel processing
· Experience developing transactional, high-volume e-commerce, hosted web applications a big plus
· Experience with performance tuning and analysis tools
· Strong communication and teamwork required.
