Sr. JavaScript Developers 
12 months 

Title: Sr. JavaScript Developers

Summary: This developer will help build a great client-side components on a modern web development platform. This developer will work with our core team to help establish solid practices and a consistent framework for delivering these components. All client-side work will be built on a foundation of JavaScript, jQuery, Handlebars and Ember.js.

Responsibilities:
- Developer will focus on building out new JavaScript/HTML/CSS features for a modular website platform.
- Help establish and enforce delivery of JSON data provided by RESTful API by our server-side development teams.
- Debug code for new and existing components, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with other developers to create clean peer-reviewed code.
- Stay current with new techniques and technologies and share knowledge with team members.

Required:
- Ability to think critically, logically analyze/solve problems, and continually learn more (many web technologies come and go every few months).
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, the HTTP(S) protocol, and asynchronous programming (callbacks, promises, generators, etc.).
- Strong development skills, great experience and a dedication to quality work.
- Passion for building amazing, modern web applications that can be sustained and enhanced for a broader development community in a large enterprise.
- Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks, particularly Ember.js
- 3-5+ years development experience focusing on MVC frameworks and/or JavaScript events-based programming
- Deep understanding and commitment to develop standards-complaint, cross-browser-compatible JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Ability to work well with advanced JavaScript techniques including asynchronous code execution, closure, complex scope revolution and execution context, custom event handlers, etc.
- Experience with client-server web applications, e.g. RESTful API.
- Experience with source-control software such as Git or SVN.
