Sr. Automation Engineer
Develop and maintain scripts to automate application deployment and administration workflows using HP's Operations Orchestration workflow automation tool
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to understand complex system architecture processes and translate them into automation scripts.
Must Have Skills:
- Linux admin and scripting is required
- Strong debugging skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with ambiguous requirements
- Ability to work within and across team
- Good understanding of software engineering concepts: abstraction, reusability, etc.
- Exposure to Agile/DevOps concepts and tools desired
- Experience with API's and SOA desired
- Availability to work on a flexible work schedule (some nights/weekends)
- Must be able to work on a PC; development and tool will be used on a PC
Soft Skills:
- Must be able to multi-task
Will work with multiple teams
