Location: Chattanooga, TN

Client: Tennessee Valley Authority

Rate:  $43 per hour

Software Engineer opportunity. 

Responsibilities:

• Plans, leads, designs, coordinates, analyzes, and directs complex it projects(s).
• Collaborates with business partners to understand business needs and identify potential technical solutions designs, creates, and maintains software by analyzing, testing, assessing and implementing programming applications based on business priorities and guidance from management.
• Provides technical direction to project teams and software engineers, demonstrating significant creativity and flexibility assists management in assuring that highest priority/highest business value items are appropriately triaged for assignment/resolution.

Required Skills/Experience:

               AngularJS   must have 2+ years experience

• Looking for our standard .NET developer to support Power Operations backlog work. Skillsets to include: .NET, C#, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, Entity Framework, SQL Server (t-sql), WCF. Primary focus on: ASP.NET, MVC and AngularJS
• Proficient with build and release management develop features across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment
• ability to quickly and reliably debug and solve complicated system issues
• demonstrates proficiency in fundamental and advanced application development concepts
• performs or directs algorithm analysis and performance tuning assists in the testing process by conducting reviews and analyses, witnessing tests and participating in software certification
• demonstrates extensive knowledge of modern programming languages, system design, data structures, algorithm complexity, compiler capabilities, design methods, industry best practices, patterns vs. Anti-patterns, networks, security, development tooling, operating systems.
• C#, .net, asp.net, java, javascript, html5, jquery, entity framework, team foundation server, ms sql server (table/query design, ssrs, ssis, and ssas), oracle, performance analysis tools, linq, open source dbs/frameworks/toolkits.
• Bs or ba degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, business administration or related field or equivalent experience is required.
• Extensive leadership ability and experience.
• Proven collaborator and communicator with demonstrated ability to pull together team members and project plans.
• Experienced in applying and leading the concepts, practices and procedures related to application development.
