The Content Template Catalog v4.1.3 (CTC4.1.3) is a suite of assets that simplify and accelerate the process of building a website. It includes common page templates, content types and design elements - making it possible to build a basic site very quickly - with little or no customization. For more complex sites, CTC4.1.3 can be still be used to rapidly lay down the groundwork for the site with the templates and design elements easily tailored for your content.

CTC4.1.3 is delivered as a Portal Application Archive, which is a package of IBM WebSphere Portal and IBM Web Content Manager assets and code, installed using the Portal Solution Installer. After installing this package you have a full templating system for building content-oriented WebSphere Portal sites.

Features include:

Complete site templates:

• Incorporating the Portal NOW and WCM NOW offerings
• Extensive pre-built site architecture and sample content - ready for customer use
• Additional components and page templates extending on NOW offerings

Enhanced Site Builder:

• Site section templates: create sections of sites from templates in addition to entire sites.
• A new content seeding model that allows a pool of content to be instantiated along with the specific page template content for real-world sites and NOW style assets
• Task based instantiation of site templates that run in the background to support larger template sizes
• Style selection - specify site styling for simpler tailoring for clients designs.

• Catalog of the assets contained in CTC with details - structure, purpose, customization
• Deeper guidance on customization - covering themes, templates, components
• End-user sample documentation - for clients to tailor to authors using customized CTC templates.

Content Template Catalog 4.1.3 requires IBM® WebSphere® Portal 8.0.0.1 with CF11 or later.
