Summary:
Candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Business Objects 4.x (Reports, Universe Design, and SDK) and will be responsible for supporting, developing and implementing features and functionalities using BOBJ RESTFul Web Services and BOBJ SDK.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Integrating Business Objects 4.x content into existing portal site.
Developing and Supporting BOBJ SDK components.
Developing and Supporting BOBJ RESTFul Web Services components.
Providing ongoing support of existing integration suite by addressing bugs or enhancement requests.
Assisting in gathering technical requirements and project specifications.
Taking ownership of project related task.
Communicating project status and deliverables with project managers and project team
Servers as Business Object SME to other project developers.
Troubleshoot and tune performance of Business Objects Reports and universes.
Performing other tasks as needed for successful project completion.
Requirements gathering and documentation:
Meet with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to understand business requirements related to usability, reporting, dashboards and KPIs.
Creating Technical Specification and Mid Level Designs.
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience in Designing, Developing, Implementing and maintaining a Business Intelligence applications.
5+ years of Experience on Business Objects SDK or RESTFul.
3+ years of Experience with Business Object Webi Report.
3+ years of Experience with JAVA
Profound experience in client-facing project engagements (5+ years).
Experience working with and building relationships with internal stakeholders.
Experience working with technology staff.
Ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and business user while developing a completed and successful solution.
Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of project timelines and budgets.
Solid knowledge on business intelligence.
Preferred:
Expert level experience with Business Object Integration.
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming.
Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
